Qualifications

• 2-year Electrical Engineering technology associate's degree or equivalent
• 5-7 years of work experience in electrical system design
• Strong skills in load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT for drawings

Responsibilities

• Works with engineers to determine design criteria, codes, and full building electrical systems design
• Provide input with equipment selections, calculations, and layouts for building services, grounding, emergency systems, lighting, and power
• Design and layout low voltage systems such as fire alarm, nurse call, telecommunications
• Prepare detailed technical drawings/specifications using AutoCAD and REVIT; ensure accuracy and compliance
• Engage with clients to discuss design alternatives and provide technical guidance through project lifecycle
• Review designs and calculations to maintain quality and regulatory compliance
