Job summary

Staengl Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer (PE) to design electrical systems for commercial and multi-family buildings in Charlottesville. You will lead MEP projects using Revit and contribute to energy-efficient, high-performance design.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of building electrical experience, and strong collaboration skills. LEED AP certification and renewable energy experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5+ years of experience in building electrical system design.
• Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with BIM.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• LEED AP certification and renewable energy experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for commercial and multi-family residential buildings using Revit.
• Lead and manage MEP projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.
