Job summary

Kforce is seeking an experienced Electrical/Controls Engineer in Chandler, AZ. You will lead electrical, instrumentation, and controls system design projects, perform comprehensive power system studies, and develop critical design documentation like P&IDs and wiring diagrams.

You’ll design PLC/HMI/SCADA architectures and serve as Engineer of Record for Arizona deliverables. The role requires a PE license, AZ registration or ability to obtain via comity, and 5+ years of relevant experience with

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Active Professional Engineer license and Arizona licensure.
  • Minimum 5+ years in electrical/controls engineering with NEC knowledge and AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Experience with PLC and HMI/SCADA systems; proven project leadership.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Preferred
  • Experience with SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower
  • Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam experience
  • PLC/HMI programming experience
  • Municipal, water/wastewater, mining, industrial, utility, infrastructure, or data center project experience
  • Consulting engineering background

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
