Job summary

Bergelectric in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Superintendent to oversee electrical construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and specifications. You will optimize crew utilization, manage productivity and safety, and coordinate with the General Contractor and foremen to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and deep knowledge of NFPA codes, with experience in large commercial or industrial settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as Superintendent or similar in Commercial, Institutional or Industrial environments.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, technology and costs.
• Experience managing mid to high-rise and/or high-end hotel projects is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor field projects and provide assistance to Foreman in planning, materials and manpower.
• Schedule and provide labor, review labor efficiencies and forecast needs.
• Track material costs, storage, usage and orders to minimize overruns.
• Prepare, review and maintain installation documentation.
• Ensure company policies and safety guidelines are followed.
• Coordinate with Inspection, General Contractor and clients to keep installation on track.
• Attend project meetings and communicate statuses to stakeholders.
• Inspect job sites to review methods and quality of work.
