Job summary

Amteck, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects, directing overall scope, schedule, and financial outcomes. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and client-service skills to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities include budgeting, planning, procurement, and scheduling, with emphasis on cost control and schedule adherence. Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project and AccuBid is preferred; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of project management experience in electrical construction, industrial and commercial.
• Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and safety codes/practices.
• Experience managing electrical construction projects ranging from $10M to $30M+.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple aspects of concurrent projects including cost, planning, scheduling, supervision and management of personnel ensuring all financial targets are met.
• Manage all activities associated with assigned projects: takeoffs, budgeting, procurement, pull planning, scheduling, and production tracking.
• Manage project-related correspondence and documents through designated document management systems.
• Act as a liaison with the customer and project staff to identify and process scope changes, address issues, and communicate milestones.
• Grow and maintain customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and quality of service.
• Create, update, and implement the project schedule; establish and maintain pull planning sessions.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Foreman, and other disciplines on planning and scheduling tasks.
• Provide insight to Engineering on design and cost-saving opportunities.
• Participate in kickoff, alignment, turnover, status, and closeout meetings.
• Identify and design Prefabrication solutions; work with Prefab team to implement strategy and analyze costs.
• Establish contract budgets and change order budgets as needed.
