Job summary

A leading design firm in Fairfax, Virginia, is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer. The role involves leading all phases of commissioning projects, performing engineering design reviews, and preparing comprehensive documentation. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience in engineering service delivery, strong MEP systems knowledge, and excellent communication skills. The position may involve domestic and international travel, with a focus on data centers and mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in engineering service delivery or consulting/design.
• Data Center / Mission Critical experience preferred.
• Licensed PE in Electrical Discipline is a plus.
• LEED AP accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in all phases of commissioning projects.
• Perform engineering design reviews and prepare testing procedures.
• Prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation.
• Lead tests and compile testing procedure results.
