Job summary

CPG is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Agent II to oversee and execute the commissioning of data center critical systems across various US worksites and remote locations. You will review client design packages, run FAT and First of Kind tests, and develop O&M documentation for long-term efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years in engineering, data center experience, and strong documentation/communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in engineering field.
• A/E experience in complex facilities or mission critical projects preferred.
• Previous Data Center / Mission Critical experience preferred.
• Electrical equipment testing experience in a Critical Facilities environment.
• IEEE/ASHRAE procedures knowledge a plus.
• Basic knowledge of systems design for various projects.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Up to 75% travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing projects, plans, provide specifications, and execute assignments in a commissioning role.
• Adhere to company QC processes and procedures.
• Participate in daily commissioning meetings and develop SOPs/MOPs.
• Prepare commissioning test procedures and reports with limited supervision.
• Develop and maintain commissioning logs, checklists, and tools; write comprehensive reports.
• Review design criteria, drawings, and equipment submittals relevant to commissioning.
• Conduct integrated system testing and load bank testing.
• Develop functional tests for electrical distribution, UPS, generators.
• Lead and manage external resources; schedule periodic meetings.
• Interface with clients, contractors, vendors, and owners' agents.
• Verify test results and assist with field troubleshooting.
