Job summary

Purge Masters in Newberg, OR is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to build and test electro‑mechanical systems for standard and custom equipment. You will assemble control panels, wiring harnesses, and machine components, following engineering docs and quality standards.

Collaborate with Electrical, Controls, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues, validate designs, and contribute to safety, efficiency, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field.
• 4–7 years of experience in electrical or electro‑mechanical assembly in manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
• Experience assembling control panels, wiring harnesses, and machine controls.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, integrate, and test electro‑mechanical equipment per specs.
• Interpret schematics, ladder diagrams, and BOMs to ensure build accuracy.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control issues and implement fixes.
• Support Lean manufacturing and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate assembly and test documentation.
