Job summary

Coperion is seeking a Senior Electrical Assembler in Whitewater, WI. This role supports operations by diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding electronics to meet customer requirements. The position emphasizes hands-on wiring, testing, and leadership on large projects in a clean 5S production environment.

The candidate will mentor junior assemblers, collaborate with engineering and quality teams, and ensure compliance with ISO standards while delivering on time.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in electrical or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years in electrical assembly with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Proficient with hand/power tools, soldering irons, crimpers and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on sub-assemblies and units per schematics and specs.
• Integrate sub-assemblies into final hardware and complete system assembly.
• Conduct basic electrical tests to verify functionality and quality compliance.
• Perform rework and refurbishment per specifications.
• Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior assemblers.
