Job summary

Timesavers LLC in Maple Grove, MN is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler for large industrial machinery. This role requires extensive field wiring on OEM equipment and strong ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on wiring experience, an relevant associate degree, and proven troubleshooting skills. This is a non-entry level, full-time position with first shift responsibilities and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of electrical assembly and field wiring on custom industrial machinery or OEM capital equipment.
• Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to read and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering docs.
• Thorough knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, relays, PLC I/O, VFDs, and industrial controls.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete electrical assembly and field wiring of large industrial machinery and capital equipment.
• Read and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and BOMs.
• Install, wire, and terminate motors, sensors, control panels, VFDs, relays, switches, PLC I/O devices.
• Route, label, terminate, and secure wiring per specs and standards.
• Perform point-to-point wiring, continuity checks, and electrical verification testing.
• Verify assemblies meet specifications before startup; troubleshoot issues and support commissioning.
• Inspect final electrical installations to ensure quality before shipment.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Controls, and Mechanical teams to resolve wiring/assembly challenges.
• Interpret docs and complete complex builds with minimal supervision.
