Job summary

A leading electrical systems company in Brighton, Michigan is seeking a 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice to perform advanced commercial electrical tasks. In this role, you'll support equipment installation, system layout, and intermediate troubleshooting while closely collaborating with journeymen and project leads. Successful candidates will have knowledge of NEC and Michigan Electrical Code and ideally will have completed 2nd-year RTI and OTJ hour requirements. Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of NEC and Michigan Electrical Code applications.
• On-the-job learning experience hours: 4000-6000 hours.

Responsibilities

• Install branch circuits, feeders, lighting systems, and power distribution equipment.
• Perform advanced conduit bending, threading, and routing with minimal oversight.
• Assist with termination of panels, transformers, disconnects, and motor control equipment.
• Interpret one-line diagrams, detailed drawings, and commercial project specifications.
• Conduct intermediate troubleshooting, voltage testing, and equipment diagnostics under guidance.
• Mentor junior apprentices and support overall crew productivity.
