Job summary

Judd Wire Inc. in Turners Falls, MA seeks a Senior Application Engineer - Electrical to design and develop high‑speed data cables and lead cross‑functional product platforms.

You will communicate with customers, write application guidance, and help maintain specifications and manufacturing instructions. You will support manufacturing, purchasing, and quality, leading design reviews and actions to improve quality, cost, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in the wire and cable industry or related field.
• Knowledge of transmission line theory, testing, and analysis of results for high‑speed data cables.
• Knowledge of wire conductors, insulators, current flow, and electric circuits.
• Effective technical writing and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-speed data cables in support of new business opportunities; lead or participate in cross-functional teams.
• Write application guidance and respond to customer requests on product performance and use; participate in customer meetings.
• Create and maintain materials, BOMs, and manufacturing instructions; improve design standards for Judd Wire products.
• Provide technical support to Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality; lead design review and corrective action meetings.
• Assist with tasks as assigned by manager; coordinate workload with Engineering team.
