Job summary

CARIAN seeks a Project Controls Scheduler – Electric Distribution to develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 for major utility distribution programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in project controls, scheduling, construction management, or capital project delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6 required.
• Strong understanding of schedule development, logic ties, and variance reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules in Oracle Primavera P6.
• Support electric utility distribution capital projects across planning, engineering, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain schedule activities, logic, milestones, durations, dependencies, resources, and progress updates.
• Coordinate schedule updates with project managers, engineers, construction teams, contractors, and client stakeholders.
• Perform schedule quality checks for accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Analyze schedule performance, critical path, milestones, constraints, and variances.
• Track progress and identify schedule risks, delays, and execution constraints.
• Prepare schedule updates, variance analyses, and management dashboards.
