Zachary Piper Solutions in Colorado Springs, CO seeks a Sr. Elastic Defend Architect to lead the design and deployment of Elastic Defend across large enterprise environments.

You will collaborate with SOC, IR, cloud, and platform teams to build scalable Elastic Security architectures and high‑performance Elasticsearch clusters. This role demands deep expertise in EDR, endpoint telemetry, and observability tooling with Kibana, ILM tuning, and robust data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• U.S. Passport holder required.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
• Experience with Elastic Security architectures and Elasticsearch clusters.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deploy Elastic Defend across large environments (enterprise-scale).
• Configure Fleet Servers, enrollment workflows, and endpoint policies.
• Design and maintain Elasticsearch clusters supporting Elastic Security workloads.
• Build pipelines for endpoint telemetry, logs, and security data.
• Improve performance via ILM tuning, index management, and ECS mapping.
• Develop observability with Kibana and related tooling.
• Implement logging, metrics, and tracing for real-time monitoring.
