Job summary

Vassar Brothers Medical Center is seeking a skilled Cardiology Technician to perform EKG testing, Holter monitoring, and pacemaker analysis under supervision. The role covers stress testing and telephonic arrhythmia detection for a diverse patient population.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of cardiology experience and holds a Coronary Care Course or equivalent. High school diploma required; benefited by hospital setting familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provides for EKG testing, Holter hook-up and scanning analysis, stress testing, trans telephonic arrhythmia detection and pacemaker analysis under the general supervision of management staff and upon request of a physician to a specific group of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Department and Hospital Administration.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to age of patient served on nursing unit or by patient care departments.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL FACTORS
