Qualifications
BSEE with a power systems or controls emphasis from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
10 or more years experience with a focus on protection / control / telecommunications for high voltage substations.
3 or more years of experience with 500kV and/or 765kV substation design.
Responsibilities
Work in a project team environment with other engineers and designers on electrical design.
Take an active role in project conceptualization, work planning, and execution for EHV substation projects.
Serve as a subject matter expert in EHV substation physical design.
Skills
Protection / control / telecommunications for high voltage substations
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects under budget and time constraints
Knowledge of physical design techniques
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Education
