Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Sr. Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist for its Mentor, OH site. This on-site, full-time role focuses on regulatory compliance, environmental stewardship, and safe operating conditions across multiple facilities.

The candidate will drive EHS improvements, support a 24-hour operation, and travel up to 5%. A Bachelor's in OH&S and 5+ years of related experience are preferred, with CSP/CIH/CHMM/QEP/CEA/REM certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OH&S or related field with 5+ years of EHS experience.
• Advanced EHS certification preferred (CSP/CIH/CHMM/QEP/CEA/REM).
• Knowledge of PSM or solvent safety in an R&D environment.
• Strong regulatory knowledge, policy and program experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary EHS resource for corporate HQ and facilities.
• Develop facility procedures ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage EHS systems integration and continuous improvement.
• Lead change management and emergency response coordination.
• Investigate spills, injuries, near-misses and maintain records.
