Job summary

MEI Rigging & Crating is seeking an Environmental Health Site Safety Manager to support field operations with site inspections, safety compliance, incident investigations, and risk mitigation. This role collaborates with the Region EH&S Manager and operations teams to sustain an incident-free work environment and promote a strong safety culture.

Requirements include 5+ years in EHS or safety management, OSHA standards experience, and current First Aid/CPR/AED credentials with OSHA 30-hour

Qualifications

• Be able to recognize safety hazards and maintain a strong safety culture.
• Hold current credentials in First Aid, CPR, and AED; OSHA 30-hour Construction Card.
• Minimum 5 years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience in construction or manufacturing.
• Experience with OSHA standards and MS Office Suite.
• Possess at least one safety certification: ASP, CHST, or CSP.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations through site inspections and safety compliance to prevent incidents.
• Coordinate incident investigations and root-cause analysis with Region EH&S Manager.
• Manage site safety programs (SIPPS, hot work permits, confined space, HAZCOM, SDS) and training.
• Conduct daily Pre-task plan audits and routine site inspections for regulatory compliance.
• Develop and deliver safety procedures, JHAs, and site safety documentation as required.
