Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Lead EHS Audit Consultant in Charlotte, NC. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 5+ years EHS work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of EHS regulations and audit practices.
• Professional certifications (CSP, CEA, CIH) are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead large, complex EHS audits across the enterprise.
• Evaluate program designs for regulatory alignment and effectiveness.
• Conduct interviews and site observations with stakeholders.
• Analyze data, draft audit deliverables, and report risks.
• Monitor post-audit action plans and follow up on mitigation.
