Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System seeks an EDW Developer Senior to lead the design, build, and optimization of enterprise data solutions. This role emphasizes scalable data pipelines, governance, and integration across EMR and non-EMR environments, with strong emphasis on AI/ML workloads.

Responsibilities include designing Power Platform solutions, mentoring engineers, and ensuring reliable, secure data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and decision-making across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, software development, or related technical role.
• Experience with SQL and complex query optimization.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and governance in AI/ML workloads.
• Experience with Git and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery and operational outcomes for one or more data domains.
• Design, implement, and maintain complex data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows.
• Lead design and governance of Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio).
• Translate analytics requirements into production-grade data solutions.
• Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement across data platforms.
