Qualifikationen

• Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent combination of education and experience in biomedical sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant scientific or medical writing and editing experience required.
• 5 to 8 years of progressively responsible experience in scientific/medical writing, editing, publication development, or a related field preferred.

Aufgaben

• Writes and edits scientific and clinical research-related materials in collaboration with faculty, clinicians, and research staff, including manuscripts, abstracts, presentations, posters, clinical trial protocols & supporting materials, NIH biosketches, grant applications, letters of support for grants, progress reports, book chapters, scientific correspondence, and other scholarly works.
• Coordinates manuscript submission, revision, and resubmission processes and serves as a liaison with authors, publishers and external stakeholders throughout the publication lifecycle.
• Assists faculty members in preparing and organizing academic promotion and tenure dossiers, CV updates, personal statements, and documentation of educational scholarly achievements.
• Contributes to the development, editing, and compilation of promotion packets for both clinical-track and tenure-track faculty, ensuring compliance with institutional standards and promotion guidelines.
• Manages multiple concurrent projects while maintaining deadlines and coordinating contributions from diverse stakeholders.
