The Washington Times, LLC seeks a seasoned Senior Editor to lead a dynamic news desk, shaping breaking and exclusive stories across national, local, sports and culture for both digital and print platforms.

You will manage a diverse team of reporters, guide editing from political and foreign desks, and cultivate ideas that engage readers. A journalism/communications degree and 10+ years of newsroom experience are required, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in news reporting and editing in national/local contexts.
• Strong news judgment and ability to manage a diverse newsroom.
