Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 6 years of post-doctoral research experience in economics, either in academia, government, or the private sector.
• Strong theoretical and empirical knowledge of macroeconomics and econometrics.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and applying econometric models.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and research skills.
• Proven ability to communicate complex economic ideas effectively through writing and presentations.
• Proficiency in statistical software packages such as Stata, R, EViews, or similar.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a research team.
• A strong publication record is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth economic research and analysis on a variety of macroeconomic and microeconomic issues.
• Develop and maintain econometric models for forecasting economic variables (e.g., GDP, inflation, employment).
• Analyze economic data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks and opportunities.
• Author high-quality research papers, reports, and policy briefs for publication and dissemination.
