Job summary

City of Raleigh's Economic and Development team is seeking an Economic Development Senior Analyst for the Small Business Development Division. You will drive outreach, data collection, and strategic solutions to serve Raleigh's 20,000+ small businesses with funding, resources, and online tools.

You will lead grant contracts, coordinate programs with city offices and workforce partners, and elevate awareness of SBD resources through events and communications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the Façade Rehabilitation Grant program administration, intake, vetting, and compliance.
• Coordinate City Business Investment Grant programs and invoice processing with relevant offices.
• Develop process documentation for programs to enable cross-training and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Raleigh's entrepreneurial ecosystem and workforce development partners.
• Boost awareness of SBD programs via ESA Communications and partner events.
• Coordinate and publish periodic program reports and resource guides; maintain online content.
• Leverage tech resources for small business support (SizeUP, CRM, GIS, etc.).
• Travel around the city for outreach events and initiatives.
• Inspire and guide the SBD team during supervisory absences.
