Qualifications

• United States citizenship required; non-citizens may be appointed per VA policy.
• No specific educational requirements for this occupation.
• Licensure or Certification is not required but strongly desirable.
• English language proficiency in spoken and written form is required.
• May qualify under Grandfathering Provision for current VA employees in this occupation.
• GS-9 level requires at least 1 year of relevant experience and ability to meet KSAs.
• Registration by CCI as RCS or ARDMS as RDCS is highly desirable; BCLS/ACLS desirable.
• Five or more years of Echo Tech experience and outpatient/inpatient experience preferred.
• Reference available at VA Qualification Standards.
