Job summary

Lee Health is seeking an experienced Level III Echocardiography Sonographer to join Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL. The role focuses on advanced cardiac imaging, including stress echocardiography, strain imaging, and contrast studies, supporting independent clinical practice with a patient-centered approach.

Qualified candidates will have 5 years of cardiac ultrasound experience, ACS or RDCS/RCS credentials, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited cardiovascular technology or ultrasound program.
• Experience: 5 years of cardiac ultrasound required; advanced credential preferred.
• Certification: BLS; RDCS or RCS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography including stress imaging, strain, and contrast studies.
• Maintain high-quality images and independent clinical practice.
• Mentor and support future sonographers within the team.
