Overview

Senior Echocardiograph Technologist

Providence caregivers are valued for their role in patient-centered, whole-person care. This role at Covenant Hosp Plainview (Methodist Hosp Plainview) supports imaging and diagnostic excellence in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient comfort, safety, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, vascular studies, and general ultrasound procedures as part of adult and pediatric imaging exams.
• Collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnosis and high-quality imaging with minimal supervision.
• Use advanced technology to deliver imaging that prioritizes patient safety and comfort.
• Adapt to a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and imaging quality across multiple specialties.

Qualifications

• Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International OR National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• 3 or more years of cumulative clinical experience in Echo/Vascular applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience working with General Ultrasound, Vascular Ultrasound and Echocardiography.

Work Details

• Onsite position; reports onsite daily as scheduled.
• Location: Plainview, Texas (commutable from the listed office).

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $37.87 - $58.79 per hour. Base pay range is provided; additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, bonuses, or incentive pay.
