Job summary

United Launch Alliance, LLC. seeks a Dynamic Environments engineer to define and verify shock, random vibration, and acoustics environments for launch vehicle, ground systems, and payload components.

You will apply SEA, BEM, FEM methods and data from flight and ground tests to derive design and acceptance criteria, while supporting anomaly resolution and data acquisition systems for environment measurements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
• 4 years’ experience with signals analysis, acoustics, shock and random vibration.
• Experience deriving acoustics, shock or random environments from data.
• Strong problem solving and teamwork skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and verify dynamic environments for launch vehicle, ground system components, and payload.
• Develop and maintain data acquisition systems used for environments measurements.
• Support anomaly identification and resolution.
