Job summary

Rincon Research Corporation seeks an Advanced DSP/Communications Engineer to design DSP and communications systems across CPU, GPU, and FPGA platforms. You will participate in all life-cycle stages, from architecture through deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure performance and reliability in space-related applications.

The ideal candidate has experience with DSP algorithms, Python, MATLAB, X-Midas, and C/C++, plus the ability to navigate complex code bases and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Python (NumPy SciPy), MATLAB, X-Midas.
• Some experience with C/C++.
• Experience with design of digital signal processing algorithms.
• Experience with implementation of DSP algorithms on CPU, GPU, and/or FPGA.
• Ability to communicate algorithms and designs in reports.
• Ability to grasp and navigate complex code bases and designs.
• Experience in GNSS, satellite or wireless communications, modulation, RF or radar domains.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop DSP and communications systems deployed across CPU, GPU, and FPGA platforms.
• Participate in all phases of the product development life cycle, including requirements, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
• Apply engineering, software, and mathematical analysis to system solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop hardware-software interfaces and performance requirements.
• Develop test procedures and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Communicate changes to practices, processes, and technical approaches.
