ACL Digital in the United States, California, El Segundo, is seeking a Senior DSP Algorithms Engineer for satellite and digital communications. You will design and verify next‑gen RF/digital payloads, develop multi-rate fixed-point DSP algorithms and waveforms, and perform system trade studies and analysis. You will support integration from unit tests to in‑orbit operations, including HDL‑level design assistance.
Qualifications
5+ years of core digital communications and DSP theory (coding/decoding, equalization, filter design, resampling).
3+ years MATLAB or Simulink.
3+ years Systems Engineering (requirements, architecture, verification).
1+ year working with FPGAs or ASICs.
Responsibilities
Design and develop next-gen RF & digital satellite communication payloads/systems.

Pay Rate: $118 / hr (W2)
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop next-gen RF & digital satellite communication payloads/systems.
Develop and verify multi-rate, fixed-point DSP algorithms & waveforms.
Perform system trade studies, modeling, performance analysis, and detailed design/verification.
Support unit-level through in-orbit integration and testing, including HDL-level design support.
Must-Have Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, CS, or related STEM field.
Experience:
5+ years: Core digital communications & DSP theory (coding/decoding, equalization, filter design, resampling).
3+ years: MATLAB or Simulink.
3+ years: Systems Engineering (requirements, architecture, verification).
1+ year: Working with FPGAs or ASICs.
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
Experience leading engineering teams or IR&D projects.
