Job summary

Fantom Corporation seeks a DSP Algorithm Engineer to design, develop, and implement high-performance DSP algorithms for mission-critical applications. You will work on signal exploitation, processing low-SNR environments, and advanced modulation techniques within Linux-based environments.

The role requires 7+ years of DSP algorithm development, strong skills in C++, Python, and a willingness to work onsite in a cleared environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing DSP algorithms in support of complex technical programs.
• Proficient in C++, Python, and Linux-based environments.
• Strong understanding of DSP theory and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced DSP algorithms for signal processing and exploitation applications.
• Develop software solutions focused on high-throughput processing of signals in challenging environments.
• Analyze and process signals with low signal-to-noise ratios and adaptive modulation techniques.
• Modify and enhance software/firmware to integrate COTS and GOTS technologies.
• Develop, test, and optimize algorithms to improve system performance and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with software and system engineers to integrate DSP capabilities into larger systems.
• Document algorithm designs, methodologies, and performance characteristics.
• Present models and algorithms to technical teams for knowledge sharing and operational use.
• Support testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance analysis activities.
• Contribute to next-generation signal processing capabilities and mission solutions.
