Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled IT Administrator in Orlando to maintain and optimize in-house software systems and network connections. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot diverse software, provide end-user training, and manage access through AMPS for JAMMEX.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing.
• Six years specialized in numerous Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions.
• Four years of concentrated, hands‑on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
• Must have applicable Application Administrator certifications per the DLA Approved Cybersecurity Computing Environment (CE) List (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Server+, Citrix, LoadRunner, Oracle Infrastructure, Okta, RedHat Systems Administrator, SAP Systems Administration, etc).

Responsibilities

• Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections.
• Plans, develops, installs, configures, maintains, supports, and optimizes all network software and communication links.
• Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues.
• Provides end user training.
• Manages user access through the DLA Account Management Provisioning System (AMPS) to request access to JAMMEX.
• Provides recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
• Provides local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location.
• Supports general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications.
• Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications and ensuring fault tolerance.
• Performs vulnerability management.
• Ensures that the system is available to its authorized users on demand, and that it operates securely and efficiently.
