Job summary

Cleo Robotics, Inc. is seeking an experienced assembly technician to build our drones from the ground up. You will work hands-on with electronics, sensors, wiring, batteries, and structural components, transforming designs into ready-to-test systems while collaborating with the engineering team.

This role emphasizes precision, fast-paced startup energy, and a bias for continuous improvement. You’ll manage inventory, document processes, and ensure quality and safety on the production floor as you

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with hardware assembly in robotics or related fields.
• Strong soldering skills and experience with electronics, wiring, sensors, batteries, and PCBs.
• Detail-oriented with pride in precise builds and quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow engineering instructions and work independently.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage parts and workflows.
• Strong communication with engineers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Assemble drone systems and subassemblies from components for testing and shipment.
• Perform high-quality soldering and electrical integration in production builds.
• Refine assembly procedures to ensure repeatable builds.
• Support prototype builds and hardware iterations with engineers.
• Repair and diagnose returned drones; replace faulty components.
• Manage inventory, receive parts, organize storage, and prep shipments.
• Document assembly processes and track builds for visibility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and ready production workspace.
