Job summary

Fairweather in Alaska is seeking a Drilling & Projects Manager to lead exploration and development drilling, well interventions, and capital projects. You will build and lead a team of office-based and field personnel, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient project execution.

You will oversee budgets, project status, QA, and coordination with multiple business lines and subcontractors, delivering high-quality results in remote environments.

Qualifications

• Must be safety conscious and uphold high HSE standards.
• Must direct work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of oil & gas industry practices and regulations.
• Experience directing large project teams and coordinating multi-disciplinary staff.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to provide planning, design, and project management services to clients in Alaska and beyond.
• Support business development and contract execution through client engagement and proposals.
• Monitor department budgets, forecasts, revenues, and expenses.
• Oversee client project statuses to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
• Perform QA on department outputs and supervise staff development.
• Collaborate with other business line managers on cross-disciplinary projects.
• Coordinate with service providers and subcontractors and communicate regulatory directions.
• Maintain and promote Fairweather’s HSE standards and zero-incident culture.
