Qualifications

• 8-12 years of hydraulics design experience including design of roadway drainage and flood control facilities.
• Experience with transportation and flood control agencies is preferred.
• Ability to manage concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrology and hydraulic design work for DOT projects.
• Prepare studies, reports, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Coordinate meetings with project stakeholders.

Skills

Hydraulics design experience

Registered Professional Engineer (PE)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience with MicroStation

Working knowledge of DOT and FHWA criteria

Education

Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering
