Job summary

Senior Flexonics Pathway in New Braunfels, TX is seeking a drafting engineer to create manufacturing drawings for expansion joints, model in 3D and 2D with SolidWorks, and collaborate with engineering, planning, and manufacturing teams.

You will apply ASME codes, ensure compliance with customer requirements, and help ultra-detailed drawings reach fabrication-ready accuracy. Occasional overtime may be required to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• Possesses CSWA or higher; CAD/Design experience is a plus.
• Ability to own projects from start to finish in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management to meet due dates.
• Willingness to learn and solve design problems creatively.
• Experience with ASME Section VIII, B31.3 or B31.1 is a plus.
• Drafting experience in heavy fabrication or piping assemblies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks.
• Apply ASME code, customer and company requirements clearly.
• Recommend changes to resolve conformance issues and discuss with teams.
• Provide sufficient product views and details for fabrication.
• Check interference and address dimensional adjustments.
• Consider manufacturability and welding access.
• Perform other duties with potential overtime as needed.
