Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Senior Large Molecule DP Product Steward to drive seamless technical industrialization and sustain the product’s technical health from manufacturability through process performance qualification and optimization. You will own the technical roadmap, mitigate risks, and align strategies with network objectives.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S./M.S. in a scientific field with 7+ years in DP/DS manufacturing or platform development; PhD is advantageous.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in a scientific discipline with 7+ years of industrial experience in platform process development or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in Drug Product manufacturing and platform technology industrialization.
• Cross-functional matrix leadership experience.
• Experience with technology transfer and/or process validation.
• Strong understanding of regulatory submissions and health authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical industrialization and product health activities across the lifecycle from launch to divestment.
• Define and deliver DP-related technical strategies for robust, cost-effective product validation and ongoing compliance.
• Own the strategic product roadmap, risk management, changes, manufacturability, and performance management.
• Act as primary product technical owner for site leadership and quality when investigating product/process issues.
• Represent the product in governance forums and with senior stakeholders.
