Job summary

Smith-Rowe, LLC is seeking a Dozer Operator in the Grading Department, local to the area. The role requires prior highway grading experience and the ability to read grade stakes with GPS or laser assistance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience with emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges.
• GPS knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre and post daily inspection of dozer to ensure machine is in proper working order, including fluid checks and lubrication.
• Maintains clean housekeeping on machine and jobsite.
• Cuts ditches, slopes, grades, clears brush, shapes and dresses slopes and other earth-moving activities.
• Reads grade stakes and works with grade checker, laser, or GPS to maintain grade.
• Other duties as requested
