Job summary

Strata-G in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Inspector to oversee, inspect, and verify DOE mission-related activities. The ideal candidate will hold an active DOE Q clearance and have deep experience with nuclear QA standards, including NQA-1 and ISO 9001, with at least 10 years in QA/QC.

You will ensure that engineering, manufacturing, construction and operations meet regulatory and institutional quality requirements, lead audits, manage NCRs, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Active DOE Q clearance required.
• Minimum of 10 years in QA/QC roles.
• DOE experience in nuclear/high-hazard environments.
• Direct application of ASME NQA-1 and ISO 9001 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex inspections of materials, components, assemblies and processes to verify compliance.
• Ensure operations comply with NQA-1, ISO 9001 and DOE directives.
• Lead or participate in internal and external QA audits and assessments.
• Identify, document and track non-conformances; drive CAPA and closure.
• Review quality records, fabricator submittals and data packages.
• Collaborate with Engineering, PM and Operations to improve quality.
