Job summary

C3EL is seeking a seasoned Transport Network Engineer to support a global transport network for U.S. Special Operations Command and partners. The role covers design, integration, implementation, and operation of SATCOM, IP/MPLS, SDN, 5G/6G, and interconnect technologies critical to mission success.

Requirements include 11+ years with DoD programs, an active Secret clearance, and CE certification. Willingness to travel worldwide and work 24/7 operations is expected.

Qualifications

• Active Secret or higher clearance and US citizenship.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SATCOM, IP/MPLS, and SDN architectures.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and operate transport networks in DoD contexts.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, implement, configure, and troubleshoot mission-critical transport networks.
• Support SATCOM, baseband, IP/MPLS, SDN, and interconnect environments.
• Configure routing with BGP/OSPF, MPLS, QoS, and SD-WAN; develop runbooks and test procedures.
• Maintain IA, RMF, and STIG compliance within network configurations.
• Coordinate with TSOs, NOCs, cybersecurity, and program management; travel worldwide as required.
