Job summary

SAIC is seeking an Engineering Technician V in Crane, IN to support DoD systems repair, testing, and diagnostics across multiple platforms, including ALQ series and related subsystems. Travel up to 10% and eligibility for a Secret clearance are required.

The role emphasizes hands-on use of the PinPoint IIR and Huntron Protrack test systems, working from schematics and layouts to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair CCAs to the component level, and to develop diagnostic routines in collaboration

Qualifications

AA degree in a related discipline with 9 years of related experience, or High School with 11 years related experience and advanced certs.
Ability to diagnose and maintain PinPoint and Huntron systems.
Ability to work with little supervision on assigned tasking.
Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and technicians.
Lab environment experience for entire shift.

Responsibilities

Support AEA division Electro-Mechanical repair across NSWC divisions.
Perform PinPoint and Huntron tasking to diagnose CCAs to component level.
Develop SRA diagnostic test routines for PinPoint and Huntron systems.
Work from schematics/diagrams/layouts to perform testing and troubleshooting functions.
Assist in determining methods to remedy malfunctions.
Analyze data where guidelines are provided.
