Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a SME Software Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG Special Programs Division at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

The role centers on software architecture, CI/CD, MBSE, and DoD cybersecurity practices across contractor teams. The successful candidate will hold an active Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility, bring 20+ years of DoD software experience, and lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and system-level evaluations while interfacing with Government and industry

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility.
• Master's degree in engineering with 20+ years DoD/government experience.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Oversee software engineering architecture for CI/CD in DoD programs.
• Assess interfaces between software, firmware, and hardware.
• Participate in software-centric reviews and transition efforts to CI/CD.
• Translate user requirements into system requirements using MBSE.
• Analyze software performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Interface with DoD contractors and Government representatives.
