Job summary

CGS is seeking a Security Support Specialist to assist, monitor, and advise on all aspects of security activities at Fort Lewis, WA. The role involves coordinating with USSOCOM personnel and contractors to maintain readiness in high-security environments.

Qualified candidates will have extensive DoD security experience, SCIF planning, and the ability to develop security approaches. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of Physical, Personnel and Special Security experience within the DoD or equivalent Government agencies.
• Operational level experience preferred.
• Extensive experience in compartmented programs in DoD, U.S. Intelligence community, or supporting U.S. Contractors.
• Experience with PSIP, Access control, ACCM, and SAP/STO processes.
• Experience in SCIF planning, accreditation, and ICD 705 standards.
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Experience briefing personnel on security practices and programs.
• Knowledge of DoD 5200.01-DoD 5105.21 volumes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assist in implementation of security activities at Top-Secret and higher classification.
• Develop written technical approaches and methodologies regarding security proposals.
• Lead security training for personnel.
• Coordinate with government and industry security officials on collateral and higher access procedures.
