Job summary

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to lead routing and switching across DoD networks at Fort Meade. You will design, implement, and modernize enterprise LAN/WAN/MAN/CAN environments, ensuring secure and compliant operations and guiding migration efforts.

The role requires DoD experience, an active security clearance, and IAT II certification, with responsibilities spanning architecture, documentation, and team mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II Certification required.
• U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret clearance required.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise routing and switching environments.
• Experience migrating and modernizing DoD networks and ensuring compliance with DoD/industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and modernization of enterprise routing and switching architectures across LAN, WAN, MAN, and CAN.
• Support migration and integration of routing, switching, firewall, VPN, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, VLAN, and network services.
• Develop engineering documentation, migration plans, and technical procedures.
• Coordinate upgrades, cutovers, and network implementation activities.
• Provide mentorship and daily direction to junior engineers and staff.
