Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) is seeking a Network Administrator Senior for the BIM program at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Oahu, Hawaii.

You will be on-site guiding network modernization, performing health checks, and leading change activities with the Air Force on a base-wide modernization effort. You will review designs, configure equipment, and mentor junior staff while supporting after-hours maintenance windows and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required and US citizenship.
• Current DoD 8140 qualification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent).
• 5+ years of hands on network administration in enterprise/DoD/military environments.
• Strong command of switching and routing including VLANs, trunking, STP, LAG, static and dynamic routing, TCP/IP troubleshooting.
• Experience applying STIGs and remediating vulnerability findings on network devices.
• Experience planning and executing production changes under formal change control.
• Willingness to work on site at JBPHH and support after hours maintenance and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily health checks, monitor alarms, and manage incident queues.
• Lead change windows, write procedures and rollback plans, and ensure changes pass through formal change control.
• Review designs and cutover plans, stage/configure equipment, and ensure supportability after installation.
• Coach junior admins and participate in on-call rotation.
