Job summary

Abile Group, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support a DoD Classified Network Services program. The role encompasses security engineering, compliance, incident response, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The candidate will implement vulnerability management, integrate security into Windows/Linux/cloud environments, and develop automation to improve continuous monitoring and authorization processes. A TS/SCI environment may be involved.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing security controls in DoD RMF environments.
• Strong understanding of NIST RMF, STIGs, and cyber risk management.
• Experience with vulnerability management and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and maintains enterprise security architecture aligned with DoD standards.
• Performs security engineering across SDLC including accreditation support.
• Develops automation scripts to streamline remediation and compliance tasks.
• Produces security documentation and risk assessments for leadership.
• Mentors junior ISSEs and leads security projects.
