Job summary

Quantech Services, Inc. is seeking a quantitative business analytics professional to support USAF and USSF DoD acquisition programs. You will translate data into cost insights, build models, and track program metrics in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Onsite in San Antonio, you will work with cost analysts to develop life-cycle cost estimates, analyze historical data, and support contract strategies. Entry-level to one year of experience in quantitative analysis is welcome; U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Entry level to one year of experience in quantitative analysis.
• Relevant education in economics, analytics, statistics, or regression.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cost analysts on a variety of projects
• Develop life cycle cost estimates for DoD weapon system programs
• Analyze historical data and develop cost estimating relationships using regression analysis
• Understand technology trends and analyze impact on cost
• Analyze software program progress tracking tools and develop metrics for program managers
• Interview functional specialists to support estimating methodology development
• Build complex spreadsheet-based program cost models used as decision analysis tools
• Apply statistics concepts to quantify the probability of success for program budget and schedule plans
• Conduct business case analyses, trade studies and economic analyses
• Assist program managers in development and execution of contract strategies and program plans
