Job summary

Inventium.io LLC is seeking a Senior Application Architect to lead design efforts for a DoD mission-critical enterprise application at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role requires active TS clearance to start and eligibility for SCI access, with on-site/hybrid work options.

You will guide a high‑performing team in designing, implementing, and supporting advanced software solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and security requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years developing object‑oriented C# and Java web applications with best practices.
• 7+ years front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX).
• 7+ years MS SQL and Oracle development with queries, stored procedures, tuning, and design.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance; eligible for SCI access.
• Willing to obtain DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II within 6 months of contract start.

Responsibilities

• Provide application design leadership by gathering requirements and designing solutions that meet prioritized business requirements.
• Incorporate new capabilities and modify software per the Software Development Plan.
• Document proposed strategies and assess anticipated risks.
• Identify alternatives and evaluate them to recommend the best implementation.
• Plan and lead sessions with users to redesign business processes and achieve improvements.
• Lead meetings to ensure design meets requirements within schedule and risk constraints.
• Provide interoperability analysis of COTS test system capabilities.
• Provide detailed database designs and data usage definitions.
• Support delivery and installation of new software versions for mission needs.
• Identify ways to streamline activities to improve mission tracking and management.
• Perform upgrades and enhancements to meet user and policy changes.
