Job summary

Precise Systems seeks a highly experienced Senior Acquisition Specialist to support PMA-264 at NAVAIR. You will assist acquisition planning, execution, and documentation across the lifecycle, coordinating with government and industry partners in a complex DoD environment.

Hybrid work is possible with required in-office support as needed. The role demands 10+ years of relevant experience, strong DoD process knowledge, and the ability to brief senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or substitutions described.
• 10+ years of DoD acquisition/program management experience.
• Experience developing and reviewing acquisition documents.
• Ability to brief senior government and industry personnel.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level acquisition and program management support to PMA-264 and IPTs.
• Assist with acquisition planning, strategy, and documentation throughout the program lifecycle.
• Develop, review, and maintain SOWs, PWSs, SOOs, CDRLs, and related docs.
• Coordinate activities across management, engineering, logistics, contracts, and finance.
• Support program reviews, milestone events, and integrated baseline reviews.
• Monitor actions, schedules, risks, issues, and mitigations to ensure timely execution.
• Prepare executive-level briefings and status reports for leadership.
• Maintain program schedules and acquisition timelines.
• Assist with budget, funding coordination, and PPBE-related activities.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and support continuous process improvement.
