Job summary

Canvas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Acquisition Program Management Professional to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Eglin AFB, FL. You will oversee DoD acquisition programs across the full lifecycle, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and advising government leadership.

Responsibilities include developing and reviewing acquisition documentation, managing cost/schedule/performance with EVM, and supporting FMS initiatives. Onsite work with 10–20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 25+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 15+ years.
• Program management experience in DoD acquisition or regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management across all DoD lifecycle phases (analysis through operations).
• Advise Government Program Managers on execution, strategy, and risk.
• Develop and coordinate Acquisition Strategy, SEP, TEMP, LCSP, SOW/SOO/CDRLs.
• Monitor cost, schedule, performance using EVM metrics.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; maintain risk registers.
• Lead or support IPTs, milestone reviews, and technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Support source selection, including proposal evaluation and contract modifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, test, and finance for integrated execution.
• Prepare briefings, status reports, and decision materials for senior leadership.
• Support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and international armaments cooperation.
